Terms and Conditions

Quotation

Unless otherwise stated in writing a quote will be valid for a period of up to fourteen days from the date the quote was issued.

Quotes will be confirmed as a booking when the deposit has been received by Milk and Honey Styling.

Booking Fee

A non-refundable booking fee (50% of total invoice) is required to secure a Milk and Honey Styling package. Until a booking fee is received, no booking will be confirmed or held.   

Payment

All payments are due as detailed in the Milk and Honey Styling invoice to the customer. Payments should be made by way of bank transfer to Milk and Honey Styling.  Bank transfers made on the due date require proof of payment (remittance receipt) to be emailed to Milk and Honey Styling. Failure to pay an invoice may result in cancellation of a booking and loss of deposit.

Changes and Cancellation

  1. Any cancellation will result in loss of booking fee.
  2. Changes must occur no less than 60 days prior to the date of event and must be approved by Milk and Honey Styling.
  3. For styling packages only: In the case of bad weather, bookings in outdoor locations will not occur, a new covered location will be needed.  It is the responsibility of the customer to have a plan b location/option. 
  4. For DIY Hire packages: In the case of bad weather, no refund or date rescheduling is permitted.  It is the responsibility of the customer to have a plan b location/option. 

Covid Policy

In the event of a government enforced restriction/lockdown, Milk and Honey Styling will postpone your booking to a future date that is suitable within 12 months.  Note that any perishable items for a booking such as (Florals and Food) can not be postponed if changes are needed within 5 days of event date.  These items will be made available for collection as they are ordered and paid to our suppliers 5 days before an event date.

Loss or damage of items

All items supplied to the customer are property of Milk and Honey Styling.

Damage to or loss of items within the period of hire as detailed in the invoice, will be reported by the customer to Milk and Honey Styling immediately. 

  1. If the items are lost, the customer must pay to Milk and Honey Styling the current replacement cost of the items;
  2. If the items are damaged, the customer must pay for all repairs.

Cleaning

All hire items should be made ready by the customer for pack down and removal by Milk and Honey Styling at the agreed time.

Rubbish should be removed from surfaces and cleared from the venue or location by the customer.

Plates, glassware and flatware should be left on the table to be packed away by Milk and Honey Styling. 

Venue details and access

It is the responsibility of the customer;

  1. to determine the suitability of the hire package for the event.
  2. to seek necessary approval and or permits required for venues and locations.
  3. to supply details regarding access to the venue including flights of stairs and locations not accessible by vehicle.

Extended Hire

Milk and Honey Styling will deliver, assemble, pack down and remove items as agreed upon in the invoice to the customer. An extended hire surcharge will apply in the event that;

  1. Milk and Honey Styling is required to return at another time to collect items.
  2. The customer seeks to hire items for a period longer than originally invoiced
  3. Extended hire is approved by Milk and Honey Styling.

Security

The customer is responsible for the supervision and security of Milk and Honey Styling items until such time that it is collected by Milk and Honey Styling.

In the event that items are stolen from the venue or location;

  1. The customer agrees to cover the costs to replace items stolen under the supervision of the customer during the period of hire.

Safety

The customer is to ensure adequate safety measures are adopted when using items provided by Milk and Honey Styling when necessary. 

The customer agrees;

  1. Not to move hire items once they have been assembled at the venue or location.
  2. That if items are used incorrectly, they are used at the customers own risk.

Milk and Honey Styling accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained where the customer and or guests move or incorrectly use items against the recommendation or instruction of Milk and Honey Styling.

Image Release
We reserve the right to take photographs of our event set ups and styling for social media purposes. We welcome photographs from you and reserve the right to use these in our promotional platforms.
We will not photograph guests without their permission.

Interpretation

“Milk and Honey Styling” means the business responsible for the hiring of items.

“The customer” means the person or persons business who will be hiring items and to whom the Tax Invoice is addressed.

“Items” means furniture, crockery, glassware, rugs, blankets, cushions and associated accessories in packages hired by the customer from Milk and Honey Styling.
